Varadkar will push Pope Francis for 'full disclosure' on clerical abuse
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has said he will press Pope Francis for full disclosure on clerical child abuse.
Mr Varadkar said he will discuss the issue with the Pope during their 10-minute meeting on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, the Taoiseach was asked to what extent leaders can put pressure on the Vatican to completely open up about child abuse.
Northern Irish firms advised to 'consult Irish Government' in event of no-deal Brexit
The British government is suggesting Northern Irish businesses should consult with Dublin in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
London has published the first batch in a series of notices informing Britons on how to prepare if there is no deal.
It includes a section dealing with businesses in Northern Ireland which import and export across the Irish border.
Agreement reached to bring an end to Ryanair pilot's dispute
The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) has welcomed an agreement between Ryanair and Irish-based pilots.
It followed five days of strikes since July 12th in a dispute over seniority issues and base transfers.
Fórsa, the union representing Irish Ryanair pilots, said the agreement came after a 22-hour negotiating session which began Wednesday and concluded on Thursday morning.
Appeal for information after young dog abandoned on the M50
The DSPCA is appealing for information after a young dog was abandoned on the hard shoulder of the M50 motorway.
On Wednesday a woman witnessed a car stopping near the Red Cow Junction and driving off, leaving the dog behind.
She stopped and picked up the animal and brought her to the DSPCA.
