A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a shooting in Dublin.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, at around 2.45 am, when emergency services were called to the scene.
It is understood the man is in his early 30s, and was shot a number of times at a house on Stannaway Road in Crumlin.
The man was taken to St James' Hospital to receive treatment, while the scene has been sealed and a technical examination is due to be carried out later.

A female cyclist died following a single-vehicle road traffic accident in county Kerry this morning.
The woman in her mid-30s was killed when the bicycle she was cycling left the road and hit a ditch.
The collision occurred on the Conor Pass on the Dingle to Tralee Road at approximately 10:40am.

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau intercepted two UK registered vehicles on the M1 motorway just south of the border.
Heroin with an estimated street value of €210,000 was seized, and three people were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
