A man is in a serious condition in hospital following a shooting in Dublin.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, at around 2.45 am, when emergency services were called to the scene.
It is understood the man is in his early 30s, and was shot a number of times at a house on Stannaway Road in Crumlin.
The man was taken to St James' Hospital to receive treatment, while the scene has been sealed and a technical examination is due to be carried out later.
It is not yet known if the incident is connected to the ongoing Kinahan Hutch feud or last week's shooting of holidaymaker Trevor O'Neill in Spain.
