Canadian singer Céline Dion has cancelled the rest of her world tour, including two sold-out Dublin dates.

The 'My Heart Will Go On' signer initially postponed the tour on account of the COVID-19 pandemic, and then later owing to her own health problems.

The Courage World Tour would have played two dates at Dublin's 3Arena in April 2024.

She had completed the first 52 dates in North America before the pandemic emerged in March 2020.

Céline has since revealed that she has been diagnosed with a rare condition, called Stiff Person’s Syndrome, which causes severe and persistent muscle spasms.

Her team has said this has prevented her from performing, and the condition is continuing to be evaluated.

In a statement, Céline said: "I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again.

"I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%.

"It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.

"I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again," she added.

Tickets purchased for the cancelled dates will be refunded via the original point of sale.
