Many of the claims were revealed in a German TV documentary, with the director Hajo Seppelt discussing the investigation on Off The Ball last month.
Irish racewalker Olive Loughnane was also provisionally given a retrospective gold medal for the 2009 world championships after the International Association of Athletics Federations annulled the results of race winner Olga Kaniskina over alleged doping.
