Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says Daniel Sturridge has a chance of making his first appearance for the club in almost five months tomorrow night.

The England striker could return from injury to face old side Chelsea in the League Cup semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge. The tie is level at 1-1.

Rodgers says he hasn't decided whether Sturridge will be fit to feature in the squad. 

"He had his training session with the team yesterday and he trained very, very well," said Rodgers. "He looked back to normal.

"We’ll see how he is today. But like I say, if he’s not ready for tomorrow, we won’t risk it that’s for sure."
