Frank de Boer has been approached by Newcastle about becoming their new manager according to his brother Ronald.
But the former Dutch international and Rangers midfielder says their advances have been rebuffed, as Frank wants to focus on his current job with Ajax in Holland.
Ronald spoke to Sky Sports News and insists his twin is happy where he is for now.
"They ask you if you're interested in maybe coming to Newcastle and Frank said 'not at this moment'. He's not discussing anything now, not even Newcastle. Even if a club comes, he's not talking," said Ronald.
Frank has led Ajax to four league titles in a row and won the prestigious Rinus Michels trophy for best manager in the Netherlands in 2013 and 2014.
