Men's third seed Rafa Nadal booked a last-16 meeting with Kevin Anderson at the Australian Open today after a straight sets win over the world number 106, Dudi Sela.

The Spaniard won by a 6-1, 6-0, 7-5 score to continue his progress in the first Grand Slam of the year.

Meanwhile, it took Maria Sharapova just one hour and one minute to dispatch Kazakhstan's Zarina Diyas and her dominance was evident by the fact that she dropped just two games in the 6-1, 6-1 result.
