Liverpool have been boosted by the news that summer signing Adam Lallana has been passed fit to make his debut for the club in Sunday's Premier League clash against Tottenham.

The former Southampton captain has been out with a knee ligament injury. 

But manager Brendan Rodgers says Lallana "will definitely be in the squad".

Mario Balotelli could also make his first appearance for the Reds after completing his move from AC Milan on Monday night.
