South Africa drew 1-1 with Senegal to pick up their first point in the African Cup of Nations.

Oupa Manyisa gave Bafana Bafana the lead from close range, a minute after the second half whistle had blown.

But Senegal's Lions of Teranga levelled when Kara Mbodji headed in on the hour mark.

Earlier, Ghana scored right at the end of their game with Algeria to earn a 1-0 win.

Tonight's results mean Senegal lead Group C now with four points.

Ghana and Algeria are both on three points, South Africa one.
