All this week we’re recognising Community Heroes with Bank of Ireland – who have donated €1 million in emergency funding donated via the Community Foundation for Ireland.
One such organisation is ‘Dig It Kids’, which fosters a love of learning in kids aged 6-12 through archaeology, history, mythology and heritage camps, events and in-schools. During the lock down, ‘Dig It Kids’ are offering free online workshops on Saturday mornings where participants can enjoy activities like making pasta skeletons, stained glass lanterns and even toilet roll castes.
