Mist and fog patches will clear and today will be dry in most places, with bright or sunny spells, but a few scattered showers will develop, mainly in Atlantic coastal counties.

Warm, with maximum temperatures of 20 to 24 degrees Celsius, but a little cooler on some coasts, especially in the south and west.

Winds mostly light, southerly or variable, with sea breezes developing.

Tonight

Tonight will remain dry in many areas, but scattered outbreaks of showery rain will extend from the west, mainly affecting parts of Ulster, Connacht and west Munster.

Patches of mist and fog also, in light south to southwest or variable breezes.

Minimum temperatures 10 to 14 Celsius.
