The fortune-telling publication also predicts an "Atlantic event" will affect the west coast of Ireland next year.

The book says house price rises here will slow but still go up, and an asteroid will be "too close for comfort."

Limerick will win the Hurling, with Kerry clinching the All-Ireland Football Final.

There will be a "severe health warning" for former US President Donald Trump, and the internet will suffer a global outage.

Old Moore's Almanac is 259 years old, with some editions still sitting in the Long Room Library at Trinity College Dublin.

In previous years, Old Moore predicted that Kanye West - also known as Ye - would have mental health problems, and that the Great Barrier Reef would be at risk of dying.

Other previous predictions to ring true include drone pizza delivery and an uprising in China.
