Bolivia is a country that takes The Simpsons seriously.

So seriously that when broadcaster Unitel tried to move the show to another timeslot, protesters - many wearing Homer and Bart masks - took to the streets.

In the cities of La Paz, Sanata Cruz and Cochabamba over 2,000 people took to the streets to restore the show to its rightful place at 16:00.

Seeing the error of their decision, Unitel took their advice, even adding an additional 45 minute slot to appease the masses.
