Despite the presence of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane remains one of the most popular players at LA Galaxy, mainly thanks to the fact that he keeps scoring goals. 

The Irishman is universally liked by Galaxy fans, which is why one season ticket holder was both surprised and delighted to get a phone call from the man himself earlier this week. 

As part of the drive to keep season tickets flowing in, the stars of the team were busy calling up those who shelled out the cash to come and support them this year.

Keane displayed a fairly Irish sense of humour as he was not being afraid to rip the piss a little and make fun of the poor guy.
