In order to get a really good view, this referee got a little too close to the action in a recent high school football game. 

Luis Aranda from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas made one of the strangest kicks you're likely to see recently when he slotted over an extra point via the conduit of a referee's face. 

Given that the refs are in play, the score stood and helped the Midland Rebels to 35-16 win over El Paso El Dorado. 

From the angle that the replay shows that it more than likely would't have made it between the posts without some help from the official's face, so we're not sure that the kicker really should be awarded the points.
