Uruguay sealed qualification to the World Cup knockout stages but the win was marred by Luis Suarez' apparent bite on Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin scored the crucial goal with his shoulder against an Italian side following a sending off for Claudio Marchisio after an hour. 

But it was another shoulder which drew most attention as Suarez appeared to bite Chiellini...

Meanwhile a much-changed England drew 0 - 0 with Costa Rica, who top the group.
