Celtic's plans to hold Champions League qualifiers in Ireland or England could be blocked by UEFA.

The Hoops have confirmed that they are looking at alternative venues for next summer's qualifiers because Parkhead will be in use for the 2014 Commonweath Games at the same time.

Under UEFA rules however, a club is only allowed to change the jurisdiction of the game for safety reasons.

That means Murrayfield may be the only viable option.
