Former Ireland head coach Eddie O'Sullivan believes Keith Earls and Dave Kearney have become Joe Schmidt's leading options on the wing.

Earls impressed and scored two tries in yesterday's win over Romania, while Kearney started and scored a try against Canada.

Despite, Tommy Bowe's try-scoring efforts against Romania, Eddie believes the aforementioned duo have made their cases.

"I think the two form wingers are Dave Kearney and Keith Earls. Earls is in the form of his life and is absolutely electric," said Eddie, who still feels that Bowe is still a hugely impressive performer.

While he also shared his worries about Rob Kearney's fitness with the injury he picked up, Eddie also lauded Simon Zebo's performance and confidence.

Eddie and Trevor Hogan were both impressed by Ian Madigan's game management against Romania, with Eddie describing him as "comfortable".

However, looking at the tournament as a whole so far, Eddie also shared concerns about the refereeing, especially the "interpretation of the breakdown" which was relevant in England's defeat to Wales.
