University of Limerick have won the Independent.ie Fitzgibbon Cup.

The students of Limerick beat Waterford IT 2-18 to 1-14 in their replay at Páirc Uí Rinn.

Clare star Tony Kelly scored six points for UL as they claimed the trophy for the fifth time.
