With the match heading for a draw - it would have been the fourth 1-1 draw in five matches so far - Moussa Sow of Fenerbahce found the bottom corner of the net in the 93rd minute.

Marseille's Andre Ayew had given Ghana the lead from the penalty spot after Christian Atsu was fouled in the box.

Stoke forward Mame Biram Diouf scored the equalising goal for Senegal on 58 minutes.
