Europe Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley's named Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Stephen Gallacher as his wild card picks.

That means there is no place for former world number one Luke Donald for the tournament against the USA, which tees off at Gleneagles later this month.

McGinley says Gallacher, who narrowly missed out on an automatic pick, deserves his place.

"His performance last week in Italy under the spotlight was huge. What he did, how he did it, all of that were a credit to them," said McGinley.
