Ireland manager Martin O’Neill seemed happy when speaking at a press conference about his side’s performance in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Georgia in Tbilisi.

Goals in either half from Everton’s Aiden McGeady sealed an important opening win as the long road to France 2016 begins.

Ireland managed six shots, three of which were on target. Hosts Georgia also had six shots, with only two of them posing any serious threat.
