Pat Nevin does not think Arsenal should get carried away by their result against Manchester City.

The Gunners put in a mature display to take a 2-0 win at the Etihad but Pat is cautious about whether they can replicate a similar result.

"Good plan B and it will work but I wouldn't get over-carried away with it. You try and do that against the likes of Chelsea on form and they'll still batter you," he told Off The Ball tonight, who also analysed why Arsene Wenger made the team more open in the early stages of the second half counter-intuitively.

He also explained why he does not think the conservative tactics used against City will work on every occasion.

"It's not going to work every week because that set of players that they've got there are not the right type of players for that game. They'll do it once every now and again but they won't do that every time they need to do it."
