Alvaro Negredo has ended his one-year stay at Manchester City to join Valencia on loan.
A clause allows the deal to be made permanent at the end of the season.
Negredo joined Manchester City from Sevilla last summer and started last season in fine form with nine league goals in the first half of the season.

The Spain forward will not be able to start his Valencia career straight away as he is recovering from a broken foot.
