Murray enjoyed an impressive straight sets win over Belgium's David Goffin on Centre Court.

Top seed Novak Djokovic will begin his Wimbledon campaign later this afternoon against Andrey Golubev.

There has already been several shock results on the opening day.

Former US Open champion Sam Stosur and 18th-seeded American Sloane Stephens were among the early round exits from the women's draw while men's 18th seed Fernando Verdasco is also out.
