RACING

Day 3 of the Punchestown Festival features the another installment of the epic rivalry between Hurricane Fly and Jezki.

The two old foes will go head-to-head once again, this time in the Ladbrokes World Series Hurdle, with Hurricane Fly leading 6-2 from their previous eight meetings.

The pair will be joined in the field this evening by the likes of Lieutenant Colonel, Zaidpour and Thousand Stars in what promises to be an enthralling contest.

Also on the card today at Punchestown will be the Ryanair Novice Chase and the La Touche Cup with the first of eight races getting underway at 3.40pm.

SNOOKER

The World Championship semi-finals get underway today at the Crucible in Sheffield.

First-up this afternoon, Shaun Murphy will begin his semi-final against Barry Hawkin who eliminated Neil Robertson last night.

Later this evening, Judd Trump will face Stuart Bingham, who last night dumped five-time champion Ronnie O'Sullivan out of the tournament.
