Draws seem to have become somewhat trendy in All Ireland hurling finals with another stalemate for a third year in a row.

However, 'stale' is a word that does not deserve to be found in any description of this match as Kilkenny and Tipperary played out a frenetic and high quality encounter at Croke Park.

While both sides take a breather and prepare to go again, thoughts will turn to how both sides can be separated when they reconvene at the cusp of the Liam McCarthy chalice on September 27th.

Former Tipperary star manager Nicky English and ex-Kilkenny goalkeeper Michael Walsh spoke to Oisin Langan on the Monday Rewind after the match and both men gave their take on the high quality levels of the match and how Tipp and Kilkenny tried to swing the balance in their favour. Walsh also gave his opinion of the "ropey enough" refereeing.

You can also hear the reactions of the impressive Richie Hogan and Paddy Stapleton after the match, as well as both managers and post-match comments from the minor final.
