There will be all Irish clash in the WGC World Match Play this week as former US Open winner Graeme McDowell faces Shane Lowry.

Only the winner from each of the 16 pools reaches the knockout stages, before the straight knock out format returns.

The two Irish stars have previously faced off in the tournament before with McDowell winning 3&2 in their 2013 Third Round clash.

World Number 1 Rory McIlroy has been given a very tough draw in Group 1.

The Hollywood native was drawn with the American trio of former USPGA Champion Jason Dufner, reigning FedEx Cup winner Billy Horschel and US Ryder Cup player Brandt Snedeker.

The tournament begins in California tomorrow, with the final taking place on Sunday at the TPC Harding Park course.
