Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal claimed his change of formation was the catalyst for his side's 2-nil win at QPR in the Premier League yesterday.

It was also something the travelling United fans had been demanding in the first half as they chanted '4-4-2'.

Van Gaal says that playing that formation has positives and negatives.
