Eating crisps in the stands has effectively landed former Manchester United manager David Moyes with an enhanced touchline ban.

The ex-Everton boss was sent off during Real Sociedad's Spanish Cup game with Villarreal on Wednesday night after berating the referee, and accepted a mid-match snack from supporters.

The Scot has been suspended for one game for his criticism of the match officials, but has been given an extra game ban because he sat in what was deemed a prohibited area.
