Laois are through to the second round of the All-Ireland football qualifiers following a 1-19 to 2-15 win over Fermanagh at O’Moore Park, Portlaoise.
Donal Kingston was exceptional for Laois, fielding and kicking well.
Laois could have been made to rue missed chances in the first half but Fermanagh were hampered by Sean Quigley being their only potent attacking threat.
