Two goals from John Walsh led Kilkenny to victory in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship final, with a four point win over Limerick.
It was Kilkenny’s first title at this level in four years and was a hard fought win. Kilkenny went into the break 0-12 to 0-10 in front after a tight first half.
The Cats started the second half the better but still needed two second half goals from Walsh to wrap up the 2-17 to 0-19 win.
