Roy Keane insists his role as assistant manager at Aston Villa will benefit the Republic of Ireland national side.
The former national team captain is also assistant to Republic boss Martin O'Neill and Keane says the current arrangement between club and country is working well so far.
"The more I work with players on the training pitch, the more I'll improve it. I don't think there's any interference with the Irish setup and so far it hasn't been a problem," said Keane.
