Ireland captain Robbie Keane and Steven Gerrard were both on the score sheet last night as LA Galaxy defeated FC Dallas 3-2 in MLS.

Keane scored his sides second goal to give the Galaxy a 2-0 lead, after former Barcelona and Tottenham striker Giovani dos Santos scored the first for Bruce Arena's side.

Gerrard scored his first league goal for the team to make it 3-1, just before the hour mark. Dallas pulled back a late goal through Atiba Harris but it was not enough as LA lead the Western Conference by two points.
