Goals either side of half-time saw Galway retain the FBD League title today.

The Tribesmen finished the game with 13 men while Roscommon were also denied their full compliment when Enda Smith was issued a black card while all their were subs on the pitch, meaning no replacement could come on.

Galway led by three at the break with a second goal coming from Danny Cummins in the early stages of the second half to put them six points clear. Roscommon rallied back to eventually reduce the margin to three points but Galway produced a stronger finish to secure the win and their second consecutive FBD League title.
