Ladbrokes' Hayley O'Connor is backing Zarkandar to win this afternoon's feature on day three of the Cheltenham Festival.

The Group One Ladbrokes World Hurdle goes off at 3.20, and Hayley told Ivan on Newstalk's Breakfast this morning: "First past the post probably has to be Zarkandar (7/2F). I think Monksland (12s) has a great each-way chance."

Ivan began by asking Hayley about yesterday's action and the triumphant Don Poli. "He got the ball rolling for punters," she said. "It was a middling day. There was plenty of punters I was talking to to yesterday who were down a few quid."

Ivan also revealed his selection (for the Jack and Jill Foundation) in the charity race, a contest in which Hayley is racing. She discussed her preparations:
