Kilkenny and Galway will do it all again after one of the most dramatic endings to a championship game in recent years, today in Tullamore.

The game finished with the incredible score line of Galway 5-16 Kilkenny 3-22, but the pick of the drama was squeezed into the final moments.

Kilkenny led by 9 points with less than 10 minutes to go, but two goals from Conor Conney and Joe Canning scoring his second penalty brought the Tribsemen level. It seemed destined for a replay as the clock moved into the red.

Henry Shefflin, on as a late substitution, won the ball and, from a tight angle out left, sent Kilkenny ahead with just seconds of stoppage time remaining.

The ball went long from the puck out and Joe Canning took expertly before pulling off his own wonder score from the sideline to bring Galway back level and set up a replay.
