Formula 1 driver, Max Verstappen has been cleared to drive on public roads on the the day of his 18th birthday.

The Dutch teenager, who has competed in 14 Grand Prix events, was previously unable to drive legally on public roads.

Verstappen corrected this as he passed his driving test on his first attempt and celebrated by posting this to Twitter:
