Ben Foden's chances of getting back into the England squad ahead of the rugby union World Cup are just about gone.

He will miss the remainder of the current season after injuring his knee during Northampton's weekend win over Ospreys in the European Champions Cup.

It definitely rules him out of the Six Nations.

The full-back did not play for the national team in the 2014 autumn internationals.
