Former Dublin manager Anthony Daly appears to be out of the running to become the new Galway hurling manager.
A seven-person management committee is due to hold interviews outgoing manager Anthony Cunningham, Under-21 manager Johnny Kelly, Mattie Kenny and two-time All Ireland winner Brendan Lynskey next week.
Daly left the Dublin job after six successful years this week and was linked with the Tribesmen.
