Tipperary have questions over the fitness of defender Michael Cahill ahead of Sunday's All Ireland Hurling final against Kilkenny.
The Thurles Sarsfields man played only a cameo in the semi-final win over Cork, having missed the quarter-final victory over Dublin with a knee injury.
Cahill is said to have suffered a setback in his recovery and is now a major doubt to make Eamon O'Shea's starting XV for the all-important decider.
