David Beckham must have stopped watching football, since retiring from the game.

Speaking at a sponsors event in Dubai, Beckham was asked who he would like to see win the Champions League. He told the reporter "Man United, PSG, AC Milan. One of those three I'd like to see win".

While his first two choices are not the worst of predictions, AC Milan are not playing in the tournament for the second season in a row. The Italian side currently lie eleventh in Serie A after finishing one place higher last year.

The most surprising aspect of Beckham's answer was that he did not tip Real Madrid to win the tournament. Of his previous clubs, the Spanish side seem the best bet to win the tournament.
