Aston Villa have offered Irish Under-21 international Jack Grealish a new four-year contract.
The highly-rated midfielder, who turns 19 tomorrow, has just 12 months remaining on his current Villa deal and the club are eager to tie him down to a new long-term contract.
The teenager has reportedly been attracting interest from Chelsea, who are hoping to tempt him to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues currently have 26 players - mostly young players - out on loan.
Youngsters like Oriol Romeu, Josh McEachran and Gael Kakuta have spent long spells out on loan with limited opportunities in the Chelsea first team in recent years.
