Arsenal have completed the signing of highly rated Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw.
The 17-year-old midfielder made his senior league debut at the age of 16 last August, and has also featured for Legia the Europa League this season.
Arsenal state that the Poland youth international can play "both holding midfield and at centre-back" and that his signature "is subject to the completion of regulatory processes".
"It's a classic Arsene Wenger signing, he's one for the future," former Arsenal forward Alan Smith has said of signing Bielik.
"He's a big lad, over six foot tall and a defensive midfielder, the kind the team needs, but he is 17 years of age."
