Arsenal are through to the FA Cup semi-finals after the Gunners beat Manchester United 2-1 to register their first win at Old Trafford in nine years.

Aresnal took the lead in the 26th minute when full-back Nacho Monreal finished off a flowing attack that saw Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dribble past three defenders before setting up the Spanish defender.

But United equalised just minutes later when Wayne Rooney headed home a pinpoint cross from Angel Di Maria.

Former United striker Danny Welbeck grabbed what proved to be the winning goal in the 62nd minute after taking advantage of a sloppy backpass from Antonio Valencia.

United also finished the game with just 10 men after Di Maria was booked for diving before then picking up a second yellow card for jostling the referee in protest over his decision.
