Exclusive information obtained by Newstalk Breakfast from the HSE shows that during the third quarter of 2020 there were still new cases of Sexually Transmitted Infections being reported when the country was being asked to keep a safe distance from anyone not living in your household. 

There were 1,764 new cases of Chlamydia, 110 of HIV and 527 of Gonorrhoea  which represents a 20% reduction year on year
