Public transport fares in Galway city should be reduced to €1 for the month of December to tackle holiday traffic and reduce emissions.

That's the view of People Before Profit local area representative for Galway city Joe Loughnane, who spoke with the show about his idea, before Shane Coleman was joined by Brian Caulfield, Associate Professor School of Engineering at Trinity College Dublin to get his reaction to this radical proposal.
