Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan is considering a new criminal offence for those who drive the wrong way on a motorway. It comes after five teenage boys were killed when the BMW car they were driving the wrong way on the M9 crashed into an oncoming vehicle. 

Speaking to Anton was Declan Higgins, President of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors  and Shane Moynihan, Fianna Fáil TD for Dublin Mid-West, Deputy Chair of the Oireachtas Transport Committee and party spokesperson on Transport.
