We hear calls for a penalty points style system for people caught drinking alcohol in public.

Councillors in Cork City say that street drinking is becoming a free for all in the city with latest figures showing an increase in people drinking alcohol in public.  

317 fines were handed out last year, compared to 117 in 2017 and 50 in 2016.
